Day 1 Arrival in Kruger National Park

After boarding your international flight and upon arrival in Johannesburg, a representative will escort you to the domestic terminal where you’ll board a flight into the Greater Kruger region. Here you’ll be met by a driver and transferred to your luxury safari camp in the Makalali Private Conservancy.

Day 2-5 Safari in Kruger National Park

For the next 4 nights, you'll be staying in the luxurious tented camp and exploring the Greater Kruger through a series of morning and afternoon safaris.

Head out for an early morning game drive with an expert guide and tracker. You’ll have a picnic breakfast in the bush, before returning to your camp where you can relax by the pool before lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll have another game drive in this incredible reserve where you’ll have a chance to spot elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, white and black rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, crocodiles, hyenas, wild dogs, zebras, giraffes, and several species of buck.

If you’re feeling adventurous you may wish to take a flight on a microlight or in a small plane to experience the Makalali Conservancy from the air. You will see the abundance of wildlife and stunning landscape from a unique perspective.

Day 6 Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

You can enjoy your game drive this morning and an early lunch before we drive you to the airport. You will fly to Johannesburg this afternoon and be met on arrival at OR Tambo International Airport.

You are then driven to Kempton, around 10 km from the airport, where you stay for 1 night at a lovely boutique hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Relax and enjoy your hotel ahead of your onward flight to Mauritius early tomorrow morning.

Day 7 Johannesburg to Mauritius

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport where you'll board your international flight to the island of Mauritius.

Upon arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, you’ll be met by a hotel representative and transferred to your luxury beach accommodation, Lux Le Morne. You will stay here for 5 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

Half board, full board and all-inclusive options are also available for a supplementary charge.

Day 8-11 Relaxation in Mauritius

With its endless palm-fringed beaches, crystal clear waters and dramatic sunsets, Mauritius is the ultimate tropical paradise.

For the next five nights, you will have the time to snorkel on the colourful coral reefs, go horse riding along a stretch of pristine beach, hike one of the trails on Le Morne Mountain, trek in lush jungles and discover spectacular waterfalls. You can also explore Black River Gorges National Park, visit Port Louis to see the churches, mosques, Chinese and Indian temples from the citadel, or stroll up Signal Mountain to see the city at sunset.

Day 12 International Inbound Flight

Today your luxury Kruger and Mauritius holiday comes to a wonderful end. Following your delicious breakfast at Lux Le Morne, you'll be transferred to the airport in Mauritius, where you can board your international flight back home. Mauritius serves direct flights to Europe, Middle East and South Africa.
