Top Safari Experiences and Attractions

Majete Wildlife Reserve

Majete is a great place to see the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. It was once empty of animals, but now it’s full of life again. You can go on game drives, boat safaris, or guided walks  



Liwonde National Park

Liwonde is one of the most popular parks in Malawi. It has elephants, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and many birds. You can explore by jeep or take a boat safari on the Shire River for great views of animals and birds.  



Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve

Nkhotakota is a quiet and wild place with hills, rivers, and forests. It’s home to elephants and many birds. You can go on walking safaris and enjoy peaceful nature without crowds.  



Nyika National Park

This park is in the highlands and looks very different from other parks. It has rolling hills, grasslands, and lots of zebras, antelopes, and leopards. It’s perfect for walking and enjoying nature   



Lake Malawi National Park

While not a typical safari park, this place is great for water fun. You can see colorful fish, go on boat trips, and relax by the beach after your land safari. It’s a nice mix of wildlife and lake adventure.
