Day 1 Arrival in Kigali & City Tour

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your private guide and transferred to the luxurious Radisson Blu Hotel Kigali, a top-notch hotel offering exceptional amenities and comfort. After settling in, embark on a half-day city tour of Kigali. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial for an emotional and educational insight into Rwanda’s history. Then, explore the vibrant Kigali craft markets where you can shop for exquisite handmade goods. In the evening, enjoy a gourmet dinner at the hotel’s fine dining restaurant and relax after your journey.

Day 2 Transfer to Nyungwe Forest & Chimpanzee Trekking

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a private scenic drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, a biodiversity hotspot in Rwanda. The journey through rolling hills and lush landscapes will give you a glimpse of Rwanda's natural beauty. Upon arrival, check in at One & Only Nyungwe House, an exclusive luxury lodge offering stunning views of the forest. Enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in the Cyamudongo or Uwinka sections of the forest. With expert guides, you’ll track these fascinating primates through the lush rainforest. Afterward, return to the lodge for a relaxing evening and a gourmet dinner.

Day 3 Canopy Walk & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Start your day with a thrilling canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest, offering a unique perspective of the rainforest from above. You’ll have the chance to spot various species of monkeys and birds as you stroll along the suspended walkway. After the canopy walk, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before transferring to Volcanoes National Park. This scenic drive will bring you closer to the magnificent Virunga Volcanoes. Upon arrival, check in at Bisate Lodge, a luxurious eco-lodge offering spectacular views of the volcanoes. Spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying a private spa session, then enjoy a gourmet dinner at the lodge.

Day 4 Gorilla Trekking & Iby'iwacu Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. Your group will be led by an expert guide as you trek through the dense bamboo forest in search of one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek could take a few hours, but the incredible experience of encountering these magnificent creatures up close is well worth it. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Rwandan culture with a visit to the Iby'iwacu Cultural Village, where you’ll learn about traditional Rwandan life, experience cultural performances, and participate in community-based conservation activities. Afterward, return to Bisate Lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Golden Monkey Trekking & Departure to Kigali

On your final day, head out for an exciting golden monkey trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park. These playful, endangered primates are fascinating to observe as they leap and swing through the trees. After spending time with the golden monkeys, return to the lodge for breakfast. Following your trek, you’ll be transferred back to Kigali in a private vehicle, where you’ll have some leisure time for last-minute shopping or relaxation at a luxury spa before heading to Kigali International Airport for your flight home.
